Investigations:
An ECG was performed, which was found to be normal and ruled out the
diagnosis of a cardiovascular accident. Ultrasonography revealed marked
hepatomegaly with grade III fatty infiltration, significant free fluid
in the peritoneal cavity, copper-T in situ, and an enlarged pancreas
measuring 13 cm in long span, with peripancreatic fluid accumulation.
The chest X-ray and urine analysis were unremarkable, while the urine
pregnancy test was insignificant.
